Summary
Mari Illustrious Makinami enters the narrative as an Evangelion pilot during the second entry of the Rebuild of Evangelion theatrical remake series. Information regarding her background remains scarce, but she is identified as the pilot of the Provisional Evangelion Unit-05. This unit features a drastic design change from previous models, utilizing four mechanical legs ending in wheels and lacking hands in favor of a jousting lance and a claw.
