Summary
Once a towering and physically imposing man, Spopovitch competed in the previous World Tournament where he was defeated by Mr. Satan. During the Buu Saga, his mind came under the control of Babidi, alongside Yamu, transforming him into a manic and powerful humanoid. He was dispatched by Babidi to the 25th Tenka-ichi Budoukai to harvest energy, where he faced Videl in the opening round. Spopovitch sought indirect vengeance against Mr. Satan by brutally assaulting Videl, nearly killing her before Yamu intervened to remind him that such excessive cruelty was unnecessary for their objective. The pair then combined forces against Gohan. With the help of a special device and Supreme Kai’s paralysis of Gohan prior to the attack, they drained his energy completely. After returning to deliver the collected power to Babidi, their master deemed them expendable and triggered a slow, agonizing explosion that killed them.
