Summary
Tobita Mayu is a young vocalist roughly the same age as Sana. Although she only makes brief appearances in both the manga and anime series, she holds significant importance within the narrative, notably featuring in the opening sequence of the second anime season despite having no actual role in the episodes themselves. Mayu is a demanding actress who approaches her craft with serious professionalism, which often comes across as arrogance. She views Sana as a direct competitor and is deeply annoyed by Sana’s relaxed demeanor. Additionally, it is suggested that Mayu harbors romantic feelings for Naozumi, causing her to become easily jealous whenever he interacts with Sana.
