Kotsubo, Okuto
Summary
Kotsubo is the physical education instructor at Yokai Academy and a kraken yokai. He is depicted as an even more lecherous pervert than Gin, frequently harassing female students. Mizore once confessed her affection for him, but he attempted to exploit the situation, which resulted in her freezing him solid. Upon his return, Kotsubo tried to frame Mizore for injuring two students to have her expelled, and when that scheme failed, he attempted to murder her. He was ultimately defeated by Tsukune, who used a blood infusion from Moka and borrowed vampire power, leading to the exposure of Kotsubo’s true nature to the entire school. In the anime adaptation, Mizore never harbored feelings for Kotsubo; instead, she nearly fell victim to his advances while crying over Tsukune.
