Summary
Murugu is the irritating avian familiar belonging to Suzaku, functioning essentially as a spy for Maze Castle. She provides Suzaku with intelligence whenever he requests it. Murugu possesses the unique ability to traverse the barrier separating Maze Castle and the demon city, as well as travel between the human and demon realms. It was she who first alerted Suzaku to Keiko’s existence when he dispatched her to gather information on Yusuke. Extremely loyal, Murugu obeys only Suzaku’s commands. Her life ends alongside her master when Yusuke’s final attack obliterates them, the Makai whistle, and a significant portion of Suzaku’s tower.
