Summary
Shiragiku, an oiran residing in Yoshiwara, knew both Kubinashi and Kejōrō during their lifetimes, with the latter acting as her attendant. She appeared to harbor romantic feelings for Kubinashi, frequently worrying that his Robin Hood-style antics would lead to his capture and execution. When a former victim of Kubinashi began threatening her to reveal his whereabouts, Shiragiku refused to cooperate. Although Kubinashi and his fellow thieves attempted a rescue after she was taken hostage, they arrived too late, as she had already taken her own life.
