Summary
Usui is a seventeen-year-old second-year student in class 2-2 at Seika High School, celebrated as one of the most popular boys in the student body. Born on April 27 with a height of 186 cm and type O blood, he maintains an enigmatic demeanor, appearing largely uninterested in his surroundings while preferring to observe events as they unfold. Despite this aloof exterior, he possesses extraordinary talent in virtually every endeavor he undertakes. His life changes when he discovers that Ayuzawa Misaki works at a maid café; rather than exposing her, he keeps her secret and soon falls deeply in love with her. While Misaki initially interprets his actions as mere harassment or a desire to see her amusing expressions, Usui’s true intent is to watch over and protect her, even going so far as to injure himself on her behalf and providing her with insightful advice on managing the other male students at Seika. He is the only male student Misaki considers an equal and is comfortable speaking with him. Little is known about his personal history, as he is reluctant to discuss his past, though he has expressed a willingness to share it with Misaki.
