Haku
Seiyuu / Dub
Summary
The Country of Mist has a history of civil wars and relies heavily on Shinobi with Advanced Bloodlines as primary weapons. Over time, individuals possessing this "Advanced Blood" became objects of fear and hatred, forcing them into hiding to survive. Haku was among the few remaining members of this lineage in the Mist. As a young child, Haku’s father discovered his mother’s heritage and murdered her before turning on Haku. In a panic, Haku killed his father and fled his village, believing himself to be a monster rejected by everyone. One day, while looking up from a slum alley, Haku was spotted by the Shinobi Zabuza. Noting their similar eyes, Haku spoke, and Zabuza recognized him as a carrier of the Advanced Bloodline limit. Zabuza took the child in, raising Haku as a "tool" to be used when necessary in exchange for freedom from the slums. Haku trained in his unique abilities and became a Hunter-Nin. When Zabuza’s attempt on the Mizukage failed, Haku fled the village alongside him to fulfill his role as a weapon. Haku’s slender frame and delicate appearance allow him to disguise himself effectively. During a search for medicine for Zabuza, he encountered Naruto, who mistakenly believed Haku to be a girl. Despite his soft appearance, Haku possesses incredible speed and Jutsu skill. Using his knowledge of human anatomy, he can target vital organs with pinpoint accuracy using simple medical needles, killing opponents instantly. His Bloodline originates from the Country of Mist, resulting in water-based Jutsus. With "Flying Water Needles," Haku uses chakra to turn ground water into ice needles, controlling their trajectory to strike enemies. In "Demonic Ice Mirrors," he creates ice mirrors to surround opponents, merging with them to teleport between reflections and attack from all angles. Additionally, Haku can perform hand seals with one hand, allowing him to execute techniques that require a free hand. Despite being an exceptional fighter, Haku is kind and sorrowful about unnecessary death. His fighting spirit is driven by the desire to protect his most "precious person," believing that true strength comes from having something precious to protect.
