Summary
Takashiro initially presents himself as Yuki’s older half-brother, claiming that he and their father had been searching for Yuki since his birth fifteen years prior. As the head of the Giou clan, he conceals a dark secret from Yuki and the other Guardians: he performed a forbidden ritual to incorporate a dura into his body. This act prevented his reincarnation, allowing him to live for a thousand years with all his memories intact, including the origins of the war against the duras. His body possesses rapid healing capabilities, and he holds a red magic book similar to Kanata’s. It is noted that Reiga was once his friend. During a confrontation with Reiga, Takashiro demonstrates his ability to regenerate independently. He later confesses to Yuki that the dura within him grants him immortality and the power to heal, explaining that he orchestrated the continuous reincarnation of Yuki and the Zwielt to ensure they could keep fighting Reiga. When Takashiro apologizes for the deception and reveals he is not Yuki’s true brother, Yuki forgives him, affirming that Takashiro remains important to him.
