Transferred to Nanyou High alongside Mitsuhashi, Shinji Itou serves as a stark contrast to his peer. Where Mitsuhashi is morally ambiguous, Itou is a righteous individual dedicated to fighting for justice. His combat style mirrors this integrity; he is incredibly tough and possesses the resilience to rise from any beating, even in the most hopeless scenarios. Although his strength rivals Mitsuhashi’s, Itou finds himself beaten more frequently because he often sacrifices himself to protect others and insists on fighting fairly, even when facing overwhelming odds or unfair circumstances. He is in a relationship with Kyouko.
