Summary
Hiruko was a former shinobi of Sunagakure who, upon his death, became one of Sasori’s earliest and most favored Human Puppets. He functioned as Sasori’s personal armor, allowing the puppeteer to hide safely inside his hollow body. Sasori dressed Hiruko in Akatsuki robes, and because he concealed himself within the puppet so frequently, observers only recognized him by this specific attire. According to Chiyo, Hiruko had changed significantly since she last saw him two decades prior. During the confrontation, all of Hiruko’s attacks were thwarted by Chiyo’s manipulation, leading to the puppet’s eventual destruction at the hands of Haruno Sakura.
