Summary
Yukipo is a shy and timid puchidol who possesses surprising physical strength, demonstrated by its ability to dig holes through concrete floors with a shovel. It frequently creates these burrows to take naps or observe its surroundings from a position of relative safety, though it also often sleeps directly inside its cardboard box. Despite its love for rest, Yukipo is easily startled while sleeping, which can cause it to dig through the floor in a frantic frenzy. The character enjoys drinking tea and eating takuan. During the winter season, Yukipo grows a tail resembling that of a tanuki; unlike other puchidols, it then prefers to have its tail brushed rather than its hair. Communication is limited to sounds such as "Po!", "Pui!", and "Pau!", or by using a toy trumpet and wagging its tail. Yukipo was discovered and named by Mami, making its first appearance in Chapter 1.
