Summary
Mahiru Inami is a timid seventeen-year-old who works at Wagnaria. Standing 166 cm tall and weighing 52 kg, she suffers from androphobia, a terror of men that leads her to punch any male who approaches. This violent reaction stems from a belief that all men intend to attack her, a mindset instilled by her jealous father, who prevented her from marrying by convincing her that males were dangerous. Consequently, she attacks men preemptively. Her coworker Souta, who often shares her shifts, endures most of these assaults. However, punching Souta helps her manage her fear, allowing her to get as close as two meters to men without feeling the urge to strike. This progress is limited to moments of civil conversation, which are frequently disrupted by Souta’s rudeness, or when she initiates an attack herself.
