Summary
Tamaki, who serves as the Assistant Warden and effectively the tyrant of Deadman Wonderland, is a major antagonist in the first half of the narrative. Beneath his calm, almost foolish demeanor lies a sadistic nature who views the daily execution of dozens of prisoners merely as a means to generate income, conduct experiments, or amuse himself. As the son of the ailing Chief Warden, he eagerly anticipates his father's death so he can assume absolute control over the prison. Tamaki dedicates significant time and resources to studying the Branch of Sin and their origins, while maintaining connections with high-ranking officials in the Japanese government with the ultimate ambition of creating artificial Deadmen. Despite his extreme cruelty, he possesses a peculiar fondness for playing with children's toys.
