Ookubo, Tetsuma
Summary
Ookubo Tetsuma is a former pupil of Katsu Kaishu who conspired with Lord Yoshinobu to steal a map from his master, a scheme driven by Yoshinobu’s desire to reclaim his family legacy. Tetsuma trained in England, where he mastered Western fencing, a discipline he practices using a sword suited for that style. Despite his youth, his education and skills provide a strong foundation for a future as a high-ranking government official, and he currently works within an office setting. His path changed when he was defeated by Kenshin Himura, who managed to persuade him to abandon his schemes.
