Summary
Yunlong Li is a pianist residing in the same Parisian apartment complex as Nodame and Chiaki, though he studies at a different Conservatory. Of Chinese descent, he is prone to becoming quite sentimental, particularly when homesickness comes up. Unlike his peers, his motivation to succeed stems from the expectations of his family. Following a mediocre performance at a piano competition that also featured Tanya, he reluctantly contemplates returning to China to work as a piano teacher. He has a strong appreciation for good food, especially when it is prepared by Chiaki or when Chiaki covers the cost.
