Summary
Kaitou Yuu is a human who gains superhuman abilities after the demon plane hole opened by Sensui. He attends Meiou Private Academy, where he constantly competes with Kurama for the top grades. A master of language, he has authored several books and enjoys word puzzles. His ability, Taboo, lets him create word games that those in his territory must follow, or else their souls will be extracted from their bodies. When Kaitou tests the limits of his power, he accidentally breaks his own Taboo, causing his soul to be sucked out of his body. Kidou and Yanagisawa then consult Genkai to help him and explain their new powers. In the anime, he is voiced by Issei Futamata in Japanese and Jakie Cabe in English.
