Summary
As the central figure in Spiral, Ayumu possesses a sharp intellect but struggles with severe introversion and deep-seated insecurity. He is haunted by the belief that he cannot outshine his flawless older brother, Kiyotaka, leading him to doubt his own capabilities to the extent that he feels unable to act independently without mimicking his sibling. Despite these internal conflicts, Ayumu is a gifted pianist and an accomplished cook, while also holding a strong affection for his sister-in-law, Madoka. Furthermore, he is regarded as the sole hope for the survival of the Blade Children.
