Goliath serves as the loyal pet guard dog for the Yozakura Family, a duty he has upheld for several generations. As an Okami Dog, a special breed that has continuously improved since the Mid-Edo Era, he has been safeguarding the family since the time of Mutsumi's Great-Great Grandmother. He is deeply protective of his charges, refusing to let anyone he does not trust sit on him and willing to use his own body as a shield. Consequently, he displays aggression when protecting the family or sensing danger, though he remains calm in other situations. His height varies by form, measuring 30cm in Small Form, 100cm in Middle Form, and 800cm in Large Form.
