Summary
Kaede is a fifteen-year-old middle-school student with originally black hair who is defined by his shy demeanor and his primary pastime of playing video games. He harbors a deep dissatisfaction with having no hobbies other than gaming, viewing it as a limitation he wishes to overcome. Despite having been in love with Mie since the very beginning of the manga, his severe lack of self-confidence makes the prospect of confessing his feelings nearly impossible for him. In his daily interactions, he often assumes a parental role toward Mie, caring for the kind but childish girl who frequently neglects her own well-being.
