Summary

Evangeline Athanasia Katherine McDowell is the twenty-sixth student listed in the Japanese alphabetical order for Class 2/3-A. Although she appears as a young girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, a height of 130 cm, and measurements of 67-48-63, she is actually a centuries-old vampire. She was cursed to remain at the school by Nagi Springfield, the father of her teacher Negi Springfield. Born sometime during the Hundred Year War, her blood type remains unknown. Initially an antagonist toward Negi because of his father's actions, she eventually transforms into a vital teacher and guide for the young mage and his allies as they search for his missing father and engage in combat. Despite her role as a mentor, Eva retains her nature as a cruel and powerful mage, balanced by the emotional sensitivities of her former human life. She enjoys the tea made by Chachamaru, Japanese scenery, and the game of Go, while disliking garlic and attending classes. She is an active member of both the Go Club and the Tea Ceremony Club.
