Summary
Big Pan, the final and largest member of the Groggy Monsters, is a wotan characterized as a half-Fishman and half-Giant. His specific half-fish lineage is the Mudfish, which grants him extremely slippery skin that provides resistance to physical attacks, although he remains vulnerable to sword strikes, as demonstrated when Pickles accidentally slashed him with his swords, causing him to bleed. During the Groggy Ring tournament, he served as his team's ball and was defeated by Sanji's Anti-Manner Kick Course before being smashed into the goal ring by Zoro. He continues to appear in anime filler episodes, participating in events like Pirate Dodgeball, where he throws the ball with such force that it eliminates not only Usopp but the entirety of his own team except for himself, Hamburg, and Foxy. In the Red Light-Green Light game, he is eliminated early after being knocked into the sea by boulders kicked by Sanji. True to the other Groggy Monsters who bear culinary names, Big Pan is named after the pan, a basic kitchen instrument that also serves as his primary weapon during the Groggy Ring.
