Known as the Special Zombie, Oars stands as the nine-hundredth creation of Dr. Hogback for Gecko Moria. Towering even above standard giants, this horned behemoth was once feared in his past life as the Demon of the Frozen Land, having mercilessly conquered numerous islands and countries five centuries ago. His resurrection holds immense significance for the Thriller Bark crew, as Moria seeks to forge the strongest zombie ever created by implanting the shadow of Straw Hat Luffy into his body. Possessing Luffy's shadow grants Oars attacks bearing names akin to the captain's techniques, such as Gomu Gomu no Scythe and Gomu Gomu no Volcano. Although he initially lacks the ability to stretch, he acquires this power when Gecko Moria takes control of his physical form. Despite his colossal stature, Oars possesses terrifying speed, moving so rapidly that he nearly vanishes from sight before delivering a strike. Furthermore, his massive size renders him immune to the paralyzing effects of small amounts of salt.
