Kanzaki, Gorou
Summary
Gorou Kanzaki is primarily recognized as the grandfather of Jin. He resided with Jin in the slums, hiding his true identity behind a long beard inside a shack constructed from wooden planks. His deepest desire was for Jin to live as a normal human rather than as Zet or a player. To protect his grandson, Gorou used deception to strip Jin of his Zet powers, successfully saving him from the Amagi Corps. However, his scheme ultimately failed when pharmaceuticals were developed to help Jin transform back into Zet, as revealed in chapter 67.
