Summary

Designated as Student Number 1, Sayo Aisaka is a timid and inept spirit who struggles significantly with her existence as a ghost. Plagued by profound low self-esteem, she is hilariously unskilled at haunting, often tripping over non-existent feet and failing to frighten anyone, instead ending up terrifying herself. Although she remains invisible to the vast majority of people, her presence is acknowledged by Takahata, who included her in the class registry with specific instructions for Negi not to alter her seating arrangement. Having endured sixty years of isolation and loneliness since her passing, Sayo becomes desperate for companionship, leading her to attempt conversations with her classmates while they prepare for the School Festival.
