Summary
Akihiko Chuuzenji is an antique book dealer known by the alias Kyougokudou, which derives from the name of his shop. He also works part-time as a Shinto priest, conducting pseudo exorcisms to help people resolve their psychological issues, even though he personally rejects the existence of the supernatural. Akihiko has a penchant for sharing obscure knowledge and takes pleasure in philosophical debates. He played a pivotal role in solving the dismemberment murder case, uncovering the truth during the final two episodes of the anime adaptation. Among his friends are Sekiguchi, Eno, and Kiba, and he has a younger sister named Atsuko who works as a reporter.
