Summary
Ageha Yoshina serves as the central protagonist of the Psyren manga series. A sixteen-year-old male with a birthday on August 8, 1992, he stands 173cm tall and possesses the ability to function as a Psychicer. Initially a laid-back student who offered to solve problems for ten thousand yen, Ageha’s life shifts when he enters the mysterious game of Psyren. His primary motivation is locating his classmate Sakurako Amamiya, leading him to team up with former classmate Hiryu Asaga after surviving the initial round. Through subsequent visits, he allies with Oboro and Kabuto, eventually discovering that Psyren is set in the future. This revelation allows him to indirectly save his friends from the past. Prior to his involvement in Psyren, Ageha lived a relatively normal life with his sister Fubuki Yoshina, who cares for him following their mother’s death, while his father, Yoshina Asuka, works as an astronomer. During his elementary school years, he was close friends with Asaga and attended classes with Amamiya, though he only became aware of her emotional withdrawal and cold-hearted demeanor after her mother passed away.
