Summary

With seat number four and a birthday on November 16, 1988, Yue is characterized by her violet hair and eyes. She is an AB type who enjoys reading but dislikes studying at school, and she is a member of the Children's Literature Research Society, Philosophy Research Society, and Library Expedition Club. As Nodoka’s best friend, Yue is frequently seen with both Nodoka and Haruna. Although she is short and can be blunt, she is generally friendly. Ironically labeled as one of the Baka Rangers for being among the five worst students in Negi’s class, she dislikes schoolwork despite her love of books. Upon discovering that Negi is a mage, she becomes enthusiastic about learning magic herself. Initially, Yue shows no romantic interest in Negi, but over time she develops a crush. To avoid hurting Nodoka, she keeps her feelings hidden, remaining supportive of Nodoka and wishing her luck in her relationship with Negi. Yue eventually becomes the fifth student in Negi’s class to form a pactio with him, joining Asuna, Nodoka, Setsuna, and Konoka.
