Summary
Inari is the eight-year-old son of Tsunami and grandson of Tazuna, residing in Wave Country. Born on December 25th with blood type A, he stands 128.5 cm tall and weighs 27.6 kg. His name references a fox deity or flavored boiled rice. Inari’s father passed away before he was born, but he came to view Kaiza as a father figure. Kaiza played a significant paternal role in Inari’s life and grew close to Tsunami. However, after Gato ordered Kaiza’s execution, Inari transformed into a sad, angry boy stripped of hope and optimism. He harbored resentment toward Kaiza, believing that his death constituted a broken promise to protect the land. Inari’s perspective shifted when he met Naruto Uzumaki, who shared a difficult past but had learned to cope with it. Naruto’s determination and concern for others helped Inari understand the power of will over fate and the importance of risking everything to protect what is precious. Inspired by this, Inari armed himself with a crossbow and rallied the townspeople to rise up against Gato’s men. He also tried to rescue his mother from thugs who intended to kill him, an attempt that succeeded only because Naruto intervened. Together with Naruto and Kakashi Hatake, they managed to drive away Gato’s forces. Inari first appeared in Chapter 16 of the manga and Episode 10 of the anime. Related figures include Tsunami, Kaiza, Tazuna, Gatô, Waraji, and Zouri.
