Summary
Princess Dia served as a timid ruler of the D Kingdom, known as the Diamond Kingdom in the anime adaptation. She made appearances in Act 4 of the manga and episode 22 of the anime series. Possessing a renowned crystal, she was initially suspected by Luna and Queen Beryl to be the Moon Princess, as they believed her gem might actually be the Silver Crystal. However, Dia was briefly controlled by Nephrite's Shadow during this time. It was ultimately revealed that her crystal was merely a statue representing either herself or the first princess of D Kingdom, depending on whether one follows the original manga, the revised manga, or the anime. This discovery confirmed that she was not the Moon Princess. Despite her minor role, Dia remains one of the few supporting characters to appear in both the manga and anime versions of the story.
