Summary
Tenshi is one of the two central female protagonists of the anime and stands at 150 cm tall, with a particular fondness for Mapo Tofu. The SSS organization bestowed this nickname upon her, stemming from Yuri’s conviction that she is a representative of a kami, although her actual name, Tachibana Kanade, translates to Angel—a title she explicitly denies possessing. Her primary role involves overseeing the procedures of the afterlife as the Student Council President of the school, a position she insists on rather than admitting to being an angel. The narrative is largely driven by her intense rivalry with Yuri, who views her as the adversary of the Afterlife. In defense of herself and her duties, Tenshi utilizes a range of self-protection techniques that she refers to as Guard Skills.
