Summary
Sakura is a young woman residing in the country Kino visited in the final episode of the anime series. Like Kino, she shares a similar background, as her parents also operate an inn. In the first English dub of the anime, her name was altered to Lily to maintain the pun that her name, when pronounced slightly differently, becomes an insult. Instead of the Japanese terms mekura, meaning ignorant, and dokura, meaning poison, the local children mock her as "Silly Willy" in this adaptation.
