Himura, Rikuo
Summary
As the series' second protagonist, Rikuo serves as both the roommate and co-worker of Kazahaya, the man he famously rescued from near-death in the snow. Much like Kazahaya, his enigmatic history revolves around a woman named Tsukiko, who is hinted to be a relative, though their precise connection remains a mystery. While he typically projects a cold and insensitive demeanor, finding amusement in teasing Kazahaya, he consistently steps in to save his partner when assignments go awry. He possesses telekinetic-like abilities that allow him to shatter objects such as cups, locks, and branches. Kazahaya states they are the same age, placing Rikuo at seventeen. He is noticeably calmer and quieter than his counterpart, with a taller, more masculine appearance that draws high-school girls to the store under the guise of asking for directions just to speak with him. Despite this rugged image, he has a quirky fondness for sweets like chocolate, a preference that clashes with traditional masculine norms in Japanese society.
