Gari was a renowned shinobi from Iwagakure and a member of the Explosion Corps alongside Deidara. He possessed Explosion Release, a kekkei genkai that enables the fusion of two unknown chakra natures to generate explosive chakra. This power was demonstrated when he utilized Explosion Release: Landmine Fist to completely destroy an Allied Shinobi with a single punch. He first appeared in the manga in Chapter #515 and in the anime during Naruto Shippuuden Episode #256.
