Summary
As a member of the Seh-Zan, the personal bodyguards of the Real King, Ial is renowned across the nation as "Godspeed Iaru" due to his ability to run at an inhuman pace. He is among the select few Seh-Zan whom the Royal Family trusts implicitly. Despite his important role in protecting the Queen and the Princess, Ial maintains a cold and unsociable demeanor toward everyone, including his comrades and mentor. His only soft spot is reserved for Erin, the sole person who knows his past and with whom he shares his rare smiles. Although he attempts to keep his distance from her to ensure her safety, he eventually learns of her dark history and swears to keep it secret until the appropriate time arrives. Subtle hints suggest that Iaru harbors romantic feelings for Erin.
