Summary
Otohime Tatsugami serves as Kamijou Touma’s cousin and makes her primary appearance during the Angel Fall incident. She does not reappear in the subsequent novels or the first season of the Toaru Majutsu no Index anime, though she receives somewhat more development and screen time within the light novel series. Her demeanor is playful and childish, and she openly claims that actions such as hugging, clinging to, or flirting with Touma, whether in public or private, are entirely acceptable. She prefers to address him as Onii-chan. Following the events of the Angel Fall incident, her physical appearance was altered, a change that deeply disturbed Touma on multiple occasions. He characterized her behavior as reminiscent of a little sister type character, alongside Tokiwadai Middle School’s Ace, Mikoto.
