Summary
Xanxus serves as the current leader of the Varia, the assassination squad within the Vongola family, and stands as an adopted son of Vongola IX. He possesses the flames of wrath, the same dying will flame type that belonged to the Vongola's second boss, alongside the dying will gun, a weapon identical to that of the seventh boss. His innate talent allowed him to wield the flames of wrath from early childhood, leading his mentally ill mother to believe he was the biological son of Timoteo, the sitting Vongola boss. Following a confrontation between Timoteo and Xanxus's mother, the boy was adopted into the Vongola family and treated with the same affection as a biological child by Timoteo. However, this privileged upbringing fostered an egoistical, vain, and cocky personality that persisted throughout the series. Visually, Xanxus is marked by facial scars and spiky hair, typically wearing the Varia uniform jacket draped over his shoulders. His attire is further decorated with feathers and a raccoon tail at the nape of his neck, draping over his left shoulder to rest in front.
