Summary
After succumbing to the crushing physical and mental strain of three consecutive days of overtime, mechanical engineer Cheng Yan passed away and took over the body of the original Roland. The new Roland possessed average intelligence and poor eyesight, requiring glasses for reading. Although he studied diligently, he did not easily achieve high marks, yet his wide range of hobbies had allowed him to accumulate a vast amount of knowledge by browsing the internet. The original Roland was the third son and fourth child of Wimbledon III. He frequently attempted to bond with his older siblings, only to be rejected due to the age gap. Timothy, a primary cause of Roland’s twisted personality, fostered an inferiority complex in him toward Timothy, Garcia, and Gerald. This dynamic became so severe that Roland could not bear to look directly into Timothy’s eyes. Seeking an outlet for his frustrations, he often subjected his younger sister, Tilly Wimbledon, to horrific treatment and consistently shifted blame onto others. As he aged, his behavior remained unchanged, resulting in his siblings avoiding him unless absolutely necessary.
