Summary
Countess Isabella Montovani is the matriarch of the family and the grandmother of Angeletta. Angeletta’s biological father is Isabella’s son, Count Adolfo, who famously defied convention by marrying a commoner named Giovanna. In the past, Isabella earned the nickname "Ice Queen" due to her cold demeanor. During an unusual spring snowstorm, she entrusted the infant Angeletta to Marchelo Rossi, becoming the young girl’s financial benefactor throughout her time with the Rossi family. It took years for Isabella to finally accept her granddaughter, as she initially believed Angeletta was solely interested in inheriting the Montovani estate. However, after Romeo and the other members of the Black Brothers helped enlighten her, she changed her mind. Ultimately, Countess Montovani took custody of Angeletta and brought her to Paris for treatment of her severe heart condition.
