Summary
Despite her advanced age, Tobera appears as a young teenage girl, a trait presumably linked to her Peach Blessing. She has short dark hair with two locks tied in braids and typically wears a sailor-style schoolgirl uniform with a hairband. During her time as Head Commander or in combat, she dons the standard Anti-Demon uniform, featuring a traditional jacket, an asymmetrical half skirt, and long fur-trimmed epaulettes. Tobera holds an extremely strict and domineering worldview. As head of the Azuma family, she believes members must prove their strength or be eliminated to avoid shaming the clan, an attitude that has spread to her descendants. Believing might makes right, she acts arbitrarily within the family, such as forcing her granddaughter Himari to engage in sexual acts with Yuuki in public and expressing a desire to instruct them, disregarding their reluctance. However, she is not entirely unreasonable, as she obeyed Fubuki’s command when Fubuki became the legal head of the clan. Despite her authority, Tobera is childish, wearing attire akin to a middle-school dress. She is incredibly perverted and lustful, playfully slapping Maia’s butt during combat and suggesting she use family members to help Himari seduce Yuuki. She also has a short temper when defied, criticized, or when others fail her expectations. Additionally, she loves sweets, fighting, and gambling, displaying a bold personality. Tobera is a highly capable fighter. Her Peach Blessing allows her to maintain youthful physical prowess. She has shown remarkable strength and reflexes, such as dodging a sneak attack from Kuusetsu and grabbing her. However, she became somewhat lazy in retirement, which led to her daughter Fubuki Azuma easily defeating her when she attempted to force her granddaughters to produce heirs for the Azuma Family.
