X. Drake serves as the captain of the Drake Pirates after leaving his post as a Marine Rear Admiral. He is one of the Eleven Supernovas, a group of eleven pirates on Sabaody Archipelago whose bounties exceed 100,000,000 when the Straw Hats arrive. Drake’s appearance is distinctive, featuring a bicorne hat that resembles a Pterodactyl’s head when viewed from above, paired with a mask. He bears a large "X" on his broad chin and another on his chest and upper body. His attire includes knee-high boots, elbow-length gloves, a leather shirt, and leather pants secured by a belt with an ornate circular buckle. He also wears a black cape with a crimson interior and a fur-lined neck. Drake shares a personality trait with fellow Supernova Basil Hawkins, as he tends to avoid unnecessary violence to prevent drawing too much attention. Despite this preference, he is a formidable combatant. He carries a four-bladed axe but is also skilled in swordsmanship, wielding a rapier-like sword. His prowess is such that he can interrupt fights between other Supernovas with a single move. He possesses significant physical strength, demonstrated when he kicked aside a copy of Shichibukai Bartholomew Kuma. His background as a former Marine gives him deep insight into the World Government’s operations, allowing him to predict Marine movements and protect himself. He is also aware of the Pacifista and Vegapunk.
