Summary
Reincarnated as Daisuke Dobashi, Hiiragi served as the leader of the group, though his actual involvement in daily operations was minimal. The administration of the base appeared to be handled through consensus or by Gyokuran rather than by Hiiragi directly. Despite his leadership role, he is rarely depicted in flashback sequences, even during extensive segments from Shion and Mokuren’s perspectives that detail life at the moon base before and after the destruction of their homeworld. His most critical narrative function was making the executive decision to prohibit the scientists from evacuating to Earth once their home planet was destroyed. Hiiragi ultimately became the third scientist to die.
