Summary
Akito Hayama, who is eleven years old at the start of the series and was born on October 12 with a B blood type, presents himself as a lone-wolf figure. He is naturally quiet and reserved, preferring to keep his distance from others. Despite not being responsible for his mother's death, he bears the weight of his family's blame, a situation exacerbated by his difficult home life and school troubles. This background leads his family to maliciously label him as a devil. Operating as the ringleader of a vicious gang of hooligans, Akito and his thugs dedicate their days to bullying at school. His demeanor shifts significantly when Sana enters his life; he becomes kinder and ceases his harassment of the girls in his class. Akito struggles to express his emotions, particularly toward those he cares about, and often reacts with anger to personal issues. Most of his behavior stems directly from his troubled family environment. He enjoys sushi and suffers from acrophobia, or a fear of heights.
