Summary
Known by the courtesy name Xianmou, Yuan Fang holds the distinction of being the inaugural member of the Eight Enigma, a group of brilliant military strategists personally selected by the celebrated veteran Sima Hui, also known as Shujing, from among his disciples. Hailing from the influential Yuan clan, his chief ambition revolves around extending his family's dominion across the northern regions. Serving as the primary advisor to his uncle, the clan leader Yuan Shao, Yuan Fang has demonstrated formidable tactical prowess. He is credited with dismantling the Guandong Alliance, which had been assembled to depose Dong Zhuo, and subsequently vanquishing Gongsun Zan, the Yuan clan's most potent rival, thereby cementing their supremacy in the north.
