Summary
Tarumi is Shimamura’s childhood friend who reappears in her life after high school classes conclude, running into her at Nagafuji’s meat store. Although she gives off a delinquent vibe that Shimamura finds more striking than her own demeanor, this tough exterior does not match her actual personality. Eager to reconnect with the Shima-chan of their past, Tarumi frequently invites Shimamura to hang out, hoping to rebuild their former bond. In the anime adaptation, the character is voiced by Ai Kayano, known for her role as Sayaka in the yuri series Bloom Into You.
