Summary
Kei first made her debut as a supporting character in the manga series Getter Robo Go, serving as a mechanic for the organization NISAR and acting as an assistant to Colonel Hayato Jin during the story's later volumes. Her narrative presence was revived in the alternate-universe OVA Getter Robo: Armageddon, where she was introduced under the name Kei Kuruma and identified as the adopted "daughter" of Benkei Kuruma. In this iteration, she joined forces with Go and Gai to form a new Getter team, taking the helm of the Shin Getter-2. Despite being raised as a boy, her true identity is revealed to be the biological daughter of Professor Saotome; she was taken in by Benkei after suffering from amnesia.
