Shirakumo, Hayama
Summary
Hayama Shirakumo is a Konohagakure jōnin tasked with defending the village’s borders in the aftermath of the Invasion of Konoha. He is characterized by long, dull purple hair tied back in a ponytail and a distinctive scar running down the right side of his mouth. His attire consists of the standard Konoha shinobi uniform, modified with short sleeves, fingerless gloves, and a thin katana strapped horizontally across his back. A skilled practitioner of Kenjutsu, Hayama utilizes the Vacuum Sword technique with his blade, a move effective enough to repel numerous Iwagakure ninja and incoming weapons. Following the invasion, he was assigned to a patrol unit in the northern borders alongside Tekuno, Naruto Uzumaki, and Kosuke Maruboshi. The group soon faced an ambush by an Iwagakure battalion. Demonstrating loyalty, Hayama remained behind to cover his teammates' retreat so they could warn the village. He summoned a crossbow fitted with explosive tags on the projectiles and, working in tandem with Tekuno, eliminated the majority of the attacking forces, contributing to the defeat of dozens of Iwa ninja. Later, he was observed participating in the restoration efforts alongside other village ninja following Pain's invasion.
