Summary
Hitomiko was a priestess whom Naraku attempted to assassinate during her childhood, but he was thwarted by her formidable spiritual energy, which was considered comparable to that of Kikyou. Many years later, Naraku finally succeeds in killing her, only to resurrect her as a puppet to destroy Kagome. Although he seeks to control her mind and body completely, Hitomiko’s immense power allows her to frequently resist his influence, leading her to hesitate, spare Kagome, and even attempt to aid her.
