Summary
Benkei serves as the beautiful and highly skilled second-in-command to Yoshitsune. She is frequently likened to a panther due to her aggressive conduct both on and off the battlefield, demonstrating unwavering loyalty to Yoshitsune and Trident. During Ikki’s hospitalization, she assumes the role of Kogarasumaru’s trainer and joins the team. In a clash against another squad, she battles Om, the Water Queen from Sleeping Forest, and manages to defeat her with assistance from Kazu. Later, she arrives at Kogarasumaru’s headquarters bearing Yoshitsune’s bloodied Ram Jet Regalia, having lost her right leg in the process. Upon completing this delivery, she breaks down in tears. It is disclosed that she was the sole survivor of the Battle of Osaka, where Genesis annihilated Trident. To escape the mecha that had captured her, Benkei severed her own leg using a blade concealed within her Panther Corsa weapon. She survived the severe blood loss, a feat attributed to her status as a proclaimed vegetarian.
