Summary
Sent by Koenma to investigate Yusuke, Sayaka is the unseen catalyst who ultimately sparked the romantic relationship between Yusuke and Keiko. Her appearances are limited to a single episode. In the manga, she is portrayed as the spirit of a lonely girl whose parents were unable to care for her. Driven by isolation, she repeatedly absorbed the soul of Shota, who lacked any sixth sense, thereby slowly killing him. Yusuke and Botan eventually managed to reason with her, leading her to leave Shota alone after he promised to play with her in Heaven upon his arrival. Following this resolution, she spends time with Yusuke, during which she tests the strength of his and Keiko’s love for one another.
